About The Position
Chesterbrook Academy is seeking an energetic and dedicated Child Care Teacher to support children across all age groups. The teacher helps create a nurturing environment where children can thrive and engage in lifelong learning. The role involves designing age-appropriate learning activities, maintaining consistent classroom routines, partnering with families, and collaborating with co-teachers and school leaders.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
Nice To Haves
- CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement interactive, age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Foster a warm and consistent classroom routine that helps toddlers feel secure and confident.
