Requirements

To be at least 21 years old, OR have a high school diploma/equivalent and meet EEC education and experience requirements for a Teacher.
EEC Teacher Certification
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications- willing to train
Evidence of a physical examination within the last 12 months.
A genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun!

Responsibilities

Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, movement, and exploration.
Create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment where every child can thrive.
Develop lesson plans that reflect each child’s interests, abilities, talents, culture, and individual learning style.
Lead daily classroom activities and help create an engaging, organized learning environment.
Build positive relationships with children and serve as a caring, dependable role model.
Follow EEC regulations, NAEYC standards, and Old Colony YMCA policies and procedures.
Help make each day at the Y a little more fun, meaningful, and memorable!
