About The Position

Children & Youth Services’ Karasik and Family, Infant & Child Care Center (KFICCC) is hiring full-time teachers for a unique, fully inclusive child care center supporting preschool children with special health care needs and disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of the classroom program. The posting lists immediate openings for a PreK Associate Teacher, Infant Associate Teacher, and Child Care Teacher. The PreK and Infant Associate Teacher roles pay $21.07–$22.14 per hour, depending on education and experience. The Child Care Teacher role pays $24.44–$25.68 per hour, depending on education and experience. New hires are eligible, for a limited time, for benchmark incentive payments totaling up to $1,000. A job fair and onsite interviews will be held at The Arc Montgomery County Headquarters, 7362 Calhoun Pl., Rockville, MD 20855, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Requirements

For the PreK Associate Teacher and Infant Associate Teacher roles: high school diploma, CDA, and one year of relevant experience.
For the Child Care Teacher role: associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or Child Development; or a high school diploma plus 60 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or Child Development.
One year of relevant experience for the Child Care Teacher role.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; the Child Care Teacher role also requires a good understanding of English.
Ability to lift and carry independently up to 25 pounds.
Ability to withstand prolonged standing or walking and frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing.
Successful completion of pre-employment medical examination and TB testing for the Child Care Teacher role.
