CWCC has opportunities for Full or Part-Time Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our team! Programs in Englewood/Union, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Springfield, Kettering, Beavercreek, Centerville, & Miamisburg. Requirements

• Energetic, supportive & patient
• Passion for working with young children
• Dependable and professional
• Meet Ohio child care licensing requirements including background checks
• Lift up to 35 pounds
• Work indoors and outdoors
• Ability to bend, kneel, sit, stand, and actively engage with young children throughout the day
• Ability to see, hear and physically interact well enough to keep children safe

Nice To Haves

• CDA, AA in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Previous experience working with young children
• Knowledge of child development
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for children ages infant - school age
• Plan and implement fun, hands-on learning experiences using Creative Curriculum.
• Foster children's social, emotional, language, literacy, and school readiness skills.
• Observe children's development and document progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD.
• Partner with families and build positive relationships through daily communication and parent conferences.
• Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
