About The Position
Riley Crossing is a senior living/child care community in Chanhassen, MN, featuring an on-site intergenerational childcare center with interactive programming with senior residents. The Child Care Aide assists in the supervision and care of children, providing childcare program activities to ensure the highest quality childcare. The schedule is part-time, 25 hours per two weeks, Monday-Friday, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Requirements
- Experience working with children and knowledge of early childhood development

Responsibilities
- Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum
- Maintaining a child friendly and orderly classroom
- Implementing effective guidance and support strategies
- Coordinate and contribute to the teaching team
- Supervises health, safety, and overall, wellbeing of children at all times
- Participates in program areas such as intergeneration activities
