About The Position

This is a part-time/back-up position in which the employee will follow or assist with daily lesson/goal plans, help carry out routine care needs, maintain daily hygiene for children, supervise and maintain classroom management, meet the needs of care for all children and assure that the children are being treated in a safe and appropriate manner. This position will be based in a variety of classes of different ages and employees in this position will be working directly with young children between ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Employees must be available for scheduled dates for subbing as well as be available for call-ins when needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Must complete CPR/First Aid and Child Maltreatment training within 90 days of hire
• Must complete Health and Safety Trainings within 6 months of hire
• Must be available for scheduled dates for subbing
• Must be available for call-ins when needed

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years child care experience preferred
