About The Position
La Isha is a wellness resort for mothers of new infants, women in need of recovery, or busy mothers in need of a getaway. Spring Oak Laisha is hiring Child Care Specialists for all shifts. The Child Care Specialist will be report to the Executive Director or scheduled Supervisor and will assist in the nursery with newborn infants.
Requirements
- Successfully attend and pass newborn care experience and training, provided by La Isha.
- Professional and prompt communication with supervisor, staff, and guests.
- Must be able to clearly comprehend oral and written instructions.
- Must generate positive attitude and image and promote loyalty amongst staff and visitors
- Must demonstrate honesty, integrity and care in company and interpersonal relations.
- Must demonstrate ability to multitask and discern tasks in order of priority
Responsibilities
- Works under the direction of the Executive Director or scheduled supervisor.
- Attends to needs of babies in nursery, and regularly checks on infants' safety and wellbeing
- Attends to cleanliness and sanitation of room and equipment
- Maintains inventory of nursery supplies.
- Laundry, sorts clothing and linen used for infant care
- Complies with facility policy and protocol in baby care and customer (mother) care.
