Requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of licensing requirements and safety regulations
- Ability to develop engaging educational activities and programs
- Organizational skills with attention to detail
- Relevant certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers (can get them once hired)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards
- Develop and implement educational programs and activities that promote children's development and well-being
- Supervise and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and center policies
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and care
