About The Position
Join Our Team as a Childcare Teacher! Are you passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive? We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Childcare Teacher for our Senior 2s to create a safe, fun, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent general education degree, required.
- Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days: Certification or approved course work in early childhood development, CPR, AED, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication.
- Attend at minimum 9 staff meetings per year, complete at least 25 hours in early childhood training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, preferred.
- Knowledge of state child care licensing, Young Star, and NAC accreditation requirements, preferred.
