About The Position

We’re looking for enthusiastic Substitute/Float Childcare Providers who can step into the classroom, keep learning flowing, and create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. As a Substitute/Float, you’ll bring energy and support wherever you’re needed—whether for a few hours, a full day, or even a week. You’ll follow established lesson plans, jump into activities, and make a positive impact on every child’s day. If you enjoy variety, flexibility, and the joy of helping kids learn and grow, this role is for you!

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent general education degree, required.
• Certification or approved course work in early childhood development, CPR, AED, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication (must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, preferred.
• Knowledge of state child care licensing, Young Star, and NAC accreditation requirements, preferred.

Responsibilities
