About The Position

Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County (BGCLC) is a place for kids to laugh, a place to learn, a place to grow and a place to belong. BGCLC is looking for energetic, fun-loving, adaptable, youth-focused individuals to help foster a fun, safe, and positive before and after school experience. If you are somebody who is passionate, fun loving, and energetic, consider joining the Boys & Girls Club in helping to foster a safe and positive before and after school experience for youth in Larimer County.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least three 3 months (455 hours) of verified experience in the care and supervision of four 4 or more children over the ages of four 4 (not related to the individual) or a current early childhood professional credential level I one (1) or higher.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behaviors.
• Candidates must be able to pass a criminal/driving records investigation and reference checks.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working in an after-school setting is highly preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is highly preferred.
• CPR certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and leading a variety of fun and memorable after school programs in areas such as academic enrichment, good character & citizenship, and healthy lifestyles
• Help ensure safety of our Club members.
• Act as a mentor/role model for school aged youth.
