This is a split shift. Hours are Monday-Friday 6:00-10:00am and 2:00-6:00pm. Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Education or a related field
- Two years of experience as a child care director or head teacher
- Proficiency in Ohio Department of Job and Families Child Care licensing regulations and Step-Up to Quality standards
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
- Passion for working with children
- Fantastic communication skills
Nice To Haves
- If you have an associate's degree, four years of relevant experience still qualifies you for this exciting role!
Responsibilities
- Oversee center enrollment and marketing.
- Supervise classroom teachers.
- Ensure compliance with ODJFS licensing and Step-Up to Quality standards.
- Handle billing, snack, and meal service.
- Engage with children, parents, YMCA personnel, and center guests.
- Collaborate with fellow center directors.
