About The Position

Oversees the operation of a daycare facility, ensuring children have a safe, happy and educational environment. Coordinate staff schedules, manage and create curriculum, and keep a close eye on the facility being mindful of any repairs or hazards that may develop.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using computers.
• Budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal daycare laws and requirements.
• Training and certification in CPR.
• Experience working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, background checks, scheduling, and observing staff with children.
• Develop and implement programming and educational curriculum in collaboration with teachers and staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements and parental expectations.
• Manage daycare facilities, ensuring safety equipment is functional, hazards are absent, the facility is clean and orderly, and supplies are ordered regularly. Adhere to local and federal regulations and allow state inspections.
