About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and energetic Childcare Director to oversee our afterschool program during the school year and our 11 week summer camp program.

Requirements

• Previous childcare, camp or afterschool leadership experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to lead a team and problem solve.
• Required state clearances and certifications (or ability to obtain them)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of our afterschool, day off, and summer camp programs.
• Hire, train and supervise staff.
• Ensure a safe, fun and engaging environment for children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and families.
• Manage daily operations, scheduling, and program planning.
• Maintain compliance with licensing and safety requirements.
• Help grow and enhance our programs through exceptional customer service and leadership.
