About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency).
  • Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) 45-hour training course.
  • One (1) year each of office administration and childcare experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree (or equivalent) in early childhood education.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

Responsibilities

  • Supports daily operations across two (2) childcare centers; serve as the central coordination point for administrative tasks, family communication, and classroom support while helping maintain a positive, efficient, nurturing environment.

  • Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
  • Serves as the primary office coordinator for two (2) childcare centers.
  • Performs daily classroom checks; ensures proper ratio compliance.
  • Builds positive relationships with current and prospective parents.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties.
