Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• Demonstrated experience in food service, preferred in child care setting or commercial kitchen environment
• Must pass all state required background checks.
• Ability to safely prepare meals while following state licensing regulations and food safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children from infancy to School-age
• Have in-depth knowledge of food processing and safety with the ability to operate standard and commercial kitchen equipment
• Maintain the highest standard of food and kitchen hygiene to keep the centers kitchen clean and safe
