About The Position

Magic Memories is seeking a patient, attentive Bus Driver to care for and transport children to and from school. The ideal candidate will be reliable and committed to safely transporting children while embodying the company's core values of love and support. This role offers varied driving hours with the option to work additional hours in classrooms as a teacher's assistant or in the kitchen as a cook at a lower pay rate. Magic Memories is a preschool and child care center dedicated to providing a loving, caring, and stimulating environment that supports children's emotional security, self-esteem, and social development in a warm, trusting, and home-like setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years working with children
• Valid CDL/S&P endorsement
• Knowledge of physical, emotional, and developmental patterns in children
• Sensitivity to individual and group needs of children
• Evidence of a safe driving record for the previous 5 years

Responsibilities

• Transporting children to and from designated locations.
• Ensuring the welfare, health, and safety of children during transport.
• Obeying all traffic regulations.
• Familiarizing with the planned route ahead of time.
• Maintaining evidence of a safe driving record for the previous 5 years.
• Ensuring the vehicle is in compliance with all state regulatory agencies' rules and regulations.
• Providing support across various classrooms, assisting with daily activities and ensuring the smooth operation of the center.
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to meet the individual and group needs of children.
• Monitoring the physical, emotional, and developmental patterns in children and providing appropriate support and care.
