About The Position

The Child Care Center Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and to other locations. The Driver ensures that the bus is regularly maintained and safe to drive under applicable state and municipal regulations. The role also includes following safety procedures with the school Director and may involve stepping into a Teacher role or assisting in other capacities as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Maintain a safe, violation-free driving record.
• Flexibility with work hours and schedule.
• Experience working with children.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and staff by bus or van to and from school, on field trips, and to other locations.
• Regularly maintain the vehicle and ensure it is safe to drive and complies with applicable state and municipal regulations.
• Implement safety procedures in coordination with the school Director.
• Step into a Teacher role or assist in other capacities as needed.
