About The Position

The Child Care Center Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and other locations. The Driver ensures that the bus is regularly maintained and safe for driving under all applicable state and municipal regulations. This position is part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. The Driver may also step into a Teacher role or assist in other capacities as needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license
• Have and maintain a safe and violation free driving record.
• Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
• Experience working with children
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Employment with this school is contingent upon successful completion of Florida’s required background screening.

Responsibilities

• Transport children in a bus or van from one loving, educational environment to another with a smiling face!
• Ensure each child's safety by maintaining vehicle functionality regularly and implementing safety procedures with their school Director.
• The Driver may step into a Teacher role or assist in other capacities as needed.
