About The Position

Under the direction of the Kids Club Coordinator, the Childcare Associate for Villa Sport Fitness is responsible for caring for children ages six weeks through eleven years. This includes providing a safe, engaging, and enriching experience for children while their parents utilize club facilities. You will create a welcoming environment where children can participate in fun activities. With your positive attitude, creativity, and passion for working with children, you will contribute to the overall success of Villa Sport by delivering exceptional service to our youngest members and their families.

Requirements

CPR certification for adults/children/infants/AED required within 30 days of hire date and must remain current throughout employment.
Minimum age of 18.
Ability to prioritize safety and follow guidelines for child supervision and emergency procedures.
Frequently required to climb, walk, bend or balance and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must occasionally sit for extended periods and regularly walk around the facility.
Must frequently move 10 pounds and in the event of an emergency lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

College degree in related field preferred.
Previous experience working with children in a childcare, camp, recreational, or educational setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with children effectively.
Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for working with children.
