About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Child Care Assistant Teacher at its Berlin center. The role supports teachers and families in providing a home-away-from-home for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines. Paid training on classroom procedures is provided, and prior classroom experience is not required. The listed hours are 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. The pay range is 16.94–18.50; no currency is specified. The role does not require evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms, indoors and outdoors, as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment where children can grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
