The Child Care Assistant Teacher helps provide daily care for children while creating a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized. The role includes learning to observe, assess, and plan for children and communicate effectively with families. Extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
