About The Position

We are looking for caring and hard-working individuals to assist in supervising children, cultivate their social and emotional development, facilitate developmentally appropriate activities in a safe and nurturing environment, care for the whole child, including diapering and assisting with toileting as needed, and support our commitment to meeting the individual needs of each child and their family. The Growing Place Child Care Centers are Keystone STAR Four rated, which is the highest quality in PA. All three of our centers are NAEYC-accredited as well. Teamwork is very important in our organization, where we serve approximately 450 children, from eight weeks to 12 years old, in three large centers. Requirements

At least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of documented experience working with children (in addition to child care center experience, valid experience can include but is not limited to volunteering, coaching, tutoring, babysitting, and/or lifeguarding. Caring for your own children does not count per PA regulations.)
Proof of high school graduation or the equivalent
Two written references
Verification of experience working with children
PA Criminal Records clearance
FBI clearance
National Sex Offender Registry clearance
Child Abuse clearance

Nice To Haves

Relevant experience: 2 years
Classroom management: 1 year
