About The Position
The Child Care Aide 2 works under close supervision of the Assistant Director, and Lead Teacher. The Child Care Aide 2 is responsible for implementing program, goals and classroom objectives, and performing related work as required for children six (6) weeks to five (5) years old.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check
- Obtain a physical prior to employment
- Applicant is required to obtain CDA within 6 months

- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential/Early Childhood Certificate/ 18 Credit Hours of Early Childhood Courses
- Knowledge of recreational activities associates with creative play
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing and directs activities for children in the program.
- Assist with supervision of large and small groups of children.
- Assist children with self - help skills.
- Works with individual children on specific tasks.
- Helps in planning and developing each day’s activities.
- Assists with the preparation and presentation of educational materials.
- Regularly, records, evaluates, assesses and updates class attendance, behavior, development, etc.
- Complete all related trainings.
- Attend seminars and parent related activities.
- Assist with serving meals and snacks.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
