Under the direction of the Director of Children’s Services, the Child Behavioral Interventionist (CBI) provides developmentally appropriate, trauma-responsive behavioral intervention services to infants, toddlers, and young children whose emotional or behavioral functioning has been impacted by adverse childhood experiences, prenatal substance exposure, family stress, or developmental concerns. Responsible for providing educational training to the Child Development Center staff and treatment staff on the impact of trauma on children and effective intervention techniques for Nexus children.
