Child and Adolescent Therapist - LSW, LAPC
About The Position
Blackbird Health is hiring an Associate / Provisionally Licensed Therapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and their caregivers. The role includes full clinical supervision and administrative support, along with dedicated clinical hours toward independent licensure. Therapists work on-site alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide care to young patients and their families. The position is offered as W-2 full-time, W-2 part-time, or 1099 contractor work. The full-time option has a $60,000 base salary and calls for 36 hours of scheduled clinical availability, supporting 28 completed direct-care hours per week, on a four-day schedule. Available shifts are 12:00 PM–8:00 PM or 1:00 PM–9:00 PM, with at least 20 weekly core hours during weekday evening peak periods. The part-time option is 20 contracted hours per week, supporting 17 completed direct-care hours, with all hours in peak windows. The contractor option pays a flat rate per completed clinical session and requires at least 10 open patient-care hours per week to achieve a baseline of eight completed clinical hours. Part-time and contractor hours must be anchored in peak weekday evening and/or weekend windows. All options require on-site clinical work and collaboration. Candidates must hold an active Pennsylvania LSW or LAPC license, or be a pre-licensed candidate working toward independent licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, and have at least one year of experience with children and adolescent patients. Candidates must be available after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or weekends. Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania LSW or LAPC license, or pre-licensed candidacy while working toward independent licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
- At least one year of experience with children and adolescent patients.
- Commitment to 100% on-site attendance for clinical supervision and team collaboration.
- Availability after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or weekends.
- For the full-time option: 36 hours of scheduled clinical availability supporting 28 completed direct-care hours per week, including at least 20 core hours during weekday peak periods.
- For the part-time option: 20 contracted hours per week supporting 17 completed direct-care hours, with hours anchored in peak weekday evening and/or weekend windows.
- For the contractor option: minimum commitment of 10 open patient-care hours per week to achieve a baseline of eight completed clinical hours, with availability anchored in peak weekday evening and/or weekend windows.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and their caregivers.

- Participate in clinical supervision and team collaboration.
- Complete clinical sessions in accordance with the selected employment option’s workload and scheduling requirements.
