About The Position
Park Nicollet is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their Child and Family Behavioral Health department in St. Louis Park. This is an exciting, innovative practice within a large, multi-disciplinary group providing outpatient mental health services in the Twin Cities area. The practice is thriving and offers outstanding clinical services to a varied patient population.
Requirements
- Residency in Psychiatry
- Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Board eligible in Psychiatry
- Board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Possession of MN Medical License
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, prescribing, directing, or administering psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Gathering and maintaining patient information and records, including social or medical history obtained from patients, relatives, or other professionals.
- Coordination with appropriate academic teams, providers, and therapists.
- Designing individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments including but not limited to pharmacological and therapy.
- Teaching responsibility for psychiatric residents.
- Day call and evening call responsibilities.
