About The Position

We are looking for a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Residential Treatment program in Leesburg, VA. This position offers competitive compensation, no weekend rounding, and a supportive team environment, enabling you to concentrate on providing direct patient care to children and adolescents aged 9 to 17 with a variety of psychiatric treatment needs. You will collaborate closely with fellow Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, psychiatric nurses, therapists, and special education professionals.

Located in Leesburg, VA North Spring is situated on a 42 acre scenic campus just 33 miles West-Northwest of Washington, DC at the northwest terminus of Dulles Greenway. Leesburg has undergone much growth over the last 5-10 years and is considered a suburban bedroom community for commuters to the National Capital. The community is home to a diverse education system, residential areas and stable businesses including major corporations, aviation, government entities, high-tech and legal offices, retail and restaurants. The area is full of history, culture and arts.

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in C/A Psychiatry
• Active or eligible Virginia state license
• 4-6 years of training and/or experience in Psychiatry

Responsibilities

• Provide long term Psychiatric care to males and females ages 9-17 y.o.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff
• Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities, follow-ups and new admissions
• Document care using EMR
