About The Position

Park Nicollet is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Child and Family Behavioral Health department in St. Louis Park. This is an exciting, innovative practice within a large, multi-disciplinary group providing outpatient mental health services in the Twin Cities area. The practice offers outstanding clinical services to a varied patient population. The role involves diagnosing, prescribing, directing, or administering psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Clinic duties include gathering and maintaining patient information and records, coordinating with academic teams, providers, and therapists, and designing individualized care plans using pharmacological and therapy treatments. There is also a teaching responsibility for psychiatric residents, and day and evening call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Residency in Psychiatry
• Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Board eligible in Psychiatry
• Board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Possession of MN Medical License

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, prescribing, directing, or administering psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
• Gathering and maintaining patient information and records, including social or medical history.
• Coordination with appropriate academic teams, providers and therapists.
• Designing individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments including but not limited to pharmacological and therapy.
• Teaching responsibility for psychiatric residents.
• Day call and evening call responsibilities.
