About The Position

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves providing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on helping them grow, learn, and live well. The position requires assisting with personal hygiene, supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs, and aiding with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The caregiver will also help participants engage with the community and enjoy their favorite activities.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with behaviors and children
