About The Position
This role involves directing medical treatment for members served, ages 12-17, within the scope of a Psychiatrist's licensure. The position requires participation in program leadership by communicating with program staff and members served, and ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards, and client and community needs. The position is for per-diem coverage on weekdays as needed, from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and can be performed remotely. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges, which will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.
Requirements
- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
- Active DEA in good standing
Responsibilities
