About The Position

A thriving health care delivery system is seeking a Child / Adolescent Psychiatrist to work in Tampa, FL. This is an outpatient, full-time, permanent position where the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning is available. The role involves working alongside primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver individualized, evidence-based care in an integrated healthcare environment. The health care system provides quality, caring, and accessible health care to a culturally diverse community and promotes a holistic system of primary care in an emerging landscape of healthcare innovation in the Tampa Bay Area. They have been improving the health and quality of living for the people in the Tampa Bay community for 35 years, with fourteen (14) locations throughout Hillsborough County. They are one of the largest federally qualified health centers (FQHC) in the state of Florida, employing 700 people. This is a non-smoking company and only non-smokers will be considered to work.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
If Board Eligible, certification to be obtained within (3) years of employment.
Current and valid DEA Registration Certificate.
Active Florida state licensure or pending.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.
Manage medication for child and adolescent patients.
Develop collaborative treatment plans.
Deliver individualized, evidence-based care in an integrated healthcare environment.
Work alongside primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals.
