Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Inpatient & Residential
About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team in Atlanta. This full-time opportunity focuses on inpatient and residential psychiatric care for children and adolescents ages 6–17 in a supportive and collaborative treatment environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in treating a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions including trauma-related disorders, autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and general child and adolescent psychiatric conditions. Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active or eligible for Georgia medical license
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Passion for collaborative and patient-centered psychiatric care
Nice To Haves
- Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and residential child/adolescent psychiatry care.
- Treat a diverse clinical caseload including trauma and PTSD, autism spectrum disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and behavioral disorders, and general child & adolescent psychiatry conditions.
- Work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, social workers, and behavioral health professionals.
- Participate in a call schedule of one night per week and one weekend per month.
