About The Position

Tuvoli is building the fintech and marketplace infrastructure powering the future of business aviation. Our platform digitizes contracts, payments, pricing, and demand distribution in a $25B+ global charter market that still relies heavily on manual processes, PDFs, and wire transfers. Tuvoli’s technology enables operators and brokers to transact more efficiently and securely through digital contracts, compliant payments, and intelligent quoting tools. Our long-term vision is to become the system of record for the charter operator community and the trusted infrastructure that powers how business aviation transacts. Tuvoli was founded by a team deeply rooted in business aviation. In the company’s early stages, the Founder and CEO also served as CTO, guiding the development of the core platform. As the company grows and the platform becomes increasingly central to how our customers operate, the technology function now requires a dedicated executive leader focused entirely on scaling the platform, the team, and the architecture for the next stage of growth. The CTO will play a central role in shaping the technology that powers Tuvoli’s marketplace, payments infrastructure, and intelligent pricing capabilities. This is a leadership role for a builder who wants to architect and scale systems that support real transactions, real customers, and real financial flows.

Requirements

  • Senior engineering leadership experience (CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience building and scaling fintech, payments, marketplace, or other compliance-sensitive SaaS platforms.
  • Track record of architecting systems that manage real financial transactions and require high reliability and trust.
  • Deep experience designing scalable distributed systems and modern cloud architectures.
  • Strong background in API-driven platforms and integration with third-party services.
  • Strong understanding of platform security, resilience, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong communicator capable of translating complex technical concepts to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.
  • Technical capability alone is not enough for this role.
  • Tuvoli succeeds because the team genuinely cares about business aviation and about improving how the industry works — how operators sell, how brokers buy, how payments move, and how trust is built across the ecosystem.
  • The ideal candidate pairs deep fintech experience with authentic enthusiasm for aviation. You may be a pilot, or simply someone who has always been drawn to aviation — the kind of person who looks up every time a plane passes overhead and has always wanted to build something meaningful in this industry.
