This is a highly visible leadership role overseeing many of the student-facing programs, services, and spaces that shape campus life at California State University, Long Beach. The Chief Student Involvement Officer will provide strategic leadership across a broad portfolio of student-facing departments, programs, services, facilities, and partnerships. This leader will play a central role in shaping how students experience community, involvement, wellness, recreation, leadership development, and campus connection. The scope is both highly visible and deeply impactful, spanning student government, student unions, recreation and wellness, events and programming, media, basic needs initiatives, vendor partnerships, and auxiliary operations. The Chief Student Involvement Officer will collaborate closely with campus leadership, student leaders, ASI senior staff, and CSU stakeholders to ensure programs and facilities evolve alongside the changing needs of today’s students. For an experienced student affairs or auxiliary services leader, this is an opportunity to shape strategy at scale while influencing the future student experience at one of California’s largest and most dynamic public universities.
