Il Monte Galala by Cloud 7 is a vibrant lagoon-centric lifestyle destination located in Sokhna, along the Red Sea coast, just 75 minutes from Cairo. The property features 153 thoughtfully designed cabanas, set around stunning crystal lagoons and complemented by curated F&B outlets, recreational facilities, and lively communal spaces. Designed as a year-round getaway, Il Monte Galala blends unique architecture, nature-driven design, and Cloud 7’s signature effortless hospitality. This role will oversee all security operations across the Resort, including patrols, access control, surveillance, and emergency response. The Chief Security will develop, implement, and regularly review security policies, procedures, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with local regulations. They will ensure the safety and protection of guests, colleagues, assets, and property at all times. This includes monitoring and managing security across all operational areas (F&B, events, cabanas, facilities), crowd control, and security planning for large events. The Chief Security will ensure proper incident reporting, investigations, and compliance with fire, life safety, and civil defense requirements. They will partner with management to assess security risks and KPIs, providing recommendations for improvement. Management of CCTV, access control, key control, and lost and found procedures, and overseeing third-party security contractors are also key responsibilities. Finally, the Chief Security will lead and mentor the security team, fostering vigilance, discipline, and professional guest-focused conduct, and collaborate closely with operations, F&B, and events teams to align security measures with seamless guest experiences. Regular training, drills, and evacuation exercises will be conducted to ensure team and property readiness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3+ years of security experience, with at least 2 in a supervisory role, preferably in hospitality, leisure, or large public venues.
• Strong understanding of national security regulations, civil defense requirements, and local licensing requirements.
• Experience working with police, civil defense, and government entities.
• Solid track record in emergency response, crisis management, and incident investigation.
• Proficiency in security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and incident reporting tools.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Nice To Haves

• A degree or certification in security management, criminal justice, or a related field is preferred.
