The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) is seeking a Chief Procurement Officer for a full-time, regular position at its Washington, DC office. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the direction, strategic oversight, and ongoing management of the PCAOB’s procurement and travel departments. The Chief Procurement Officer will partner with PCAOB Division and Office leaders to align procurement priorities with enterprise strategy and cost optimization, delivering innovative acquisition strategies to enable the PCAOB to meet its mission effectively and efficiently. The position involves leading the end-to-end transformation and modernization of the procurement function into a strategic, data-driven business partner by implementing best practices in vendor oversight, third-party risk, establishing KPIs, enhancing market analysis, and establishing a business partner model for stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities also include establishing and maintaining organization-wide policies and procedures for a centralized acquisition function, and overseeing travel and travel security programs, including the travel and business expense program and corporate card programs.
