The Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA), State Procurement Office (SPO), is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Procurement Officer to be assigned to the Department of Emergency and Military Affairs (DEMA). The CPO has a matrix reporting structure, reporting to the ADOA State Procurement Administrator with a dotted-line to the DEMA. This critical leadership role will oversee all procurement activities for DEMA, ensuring compliance with state procurement laws and regulations while maximizing value and efficiency. The Chief Procurement Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement policies, managing a team of procurement professionals, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet the diverse purchasing needs of DEMA, particularly in support of its emergency preparedness and response mission. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the critical work of DEMA and the State of Arizona.
