The Buck Institute seeks a strategic, externally oriented Chief Philanthropy Officer to lead its philanthropic enterprise and position the organization for its next phase of growth. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and serving on the executive leadership team, the Chief Philanthropy Officer will define and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with Buck’s scientific mission, institutional priorities, and long-term growth and campaign ambitions. This is a rare opportunity to shape philanthropy at a globally recognized biomedical research institute at the forefront of longevity science. With strong scientific momentum and increasing visibility in a rapidly expanding field, Buck is well positioned to significantly grow philanthropic investment. The Chief Philanthropy Officer will serve as the Institute’s senior fundraising executive and a trusted partner to the EVP, CEO, Board of Trustees, faculty, and senior leadership. The successful candidate will bring the vision, discipline, and fundraising expertise to expand major and transformational giving, deepen donor relationships, strengthen institutional fundraising capacity, and help position Buck for its next phase of institutional growth.
