The Chief People Officer (CPO) is a mission-driven executive who reports directly to the CEO and partners closely with the Board and senior leadership. This role is responsible for aligning People’s strategies with organizational goals to ensure that HR practices reinforce the credit union’s vision, brand promise, and guiding principles. The CPO leads the People & Culture functions, overseeing Learning and Development, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, and Team Member Experience. The position ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations while fostering a member-centric, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
