About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team. The COO will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, business growth, and organizational success.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, preferably in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
Proven track record of driving operational excellence, implementing strategic initiatives, and achieving business results.
Strong understanding of business operations, supply chain management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize business performance, achieve growth targets, and enhance profitability.
Evaluate and champion the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and automation tools, to drive operational efficiency and position Human Ingenuity for long-term growth.
Lead and oversee various departments, including but not limited to operations, supply chain, quality assurance, and logistics.
Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.
Manage large capital projects, plant ramp-ups, and automation initiatives.
Assist with architecting additional factory space or potential facility relocation from our Irwindale location.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency across the organization.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices.
Manage key relationships with partners, suppliers, and stakeholders to support business operations and expansion.
Lead organizational change initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance excellence.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and drive decision-making.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the operations team.
