About The Position

Recovery Consultants of Atlanta is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead transformative change in the nonprofit sector. Recovery Consultants of Atlanta is a private non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1999 by members of Metro-Atlanta's 12-Step and faith-based addiction recovery communities. The organization has expanded its services to include comprehensive Primary Care Services through its Community Health Center. Its mission is to inspire hope and contribute to health and well-being by providing the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice, education, and application of best practices.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Over seven years of leadership experience within healthcare or behavioral health settings.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Operational expertise to effectively manage budgets and drive organizational performance.
  • Ability to inspire and develop program leaders and staff.
  • Capacity to implement policies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with CARF and CCBHC standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations spanning both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring adherence to CARF, CCBHC, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle, productivity, and service delivery.
  • Manage budgets to uphold financial performance.
  • Lead and develop program leaders and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational efficiency and enhance workflows, paving the way for program growth and expansion.
  • Implement essential policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality improvement initiatives, positioning the organization as a leader in the nonprofit social services sector.
