About The Position

HealthActions Physical Therapy, a company that values Passionate Professionals, Servant Leaders and Continual Learners, is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Chief Operating Officer to lead operations across our 10 outpatient clinics and help guide our next phase of growth. Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (PT), or a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of healthcare executive leadership experience, with specific multi-site outpatient clinic management background.
  • Deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in rural healthcare delivery and staffing.
  • Strong ability to lead diverse teams, communicate clearly, and build a positive workplace culture.
  • Proven track record in financial budgeting, healthcare compliance, and operational scaling.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability, individually and team.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations across all 10 rural locations to ensure smooth workflows, high patient satisfaction, and efficient resource sharing.
  • Manage the organizational budget, control expenses, improve revenue cycle management, and achieve regional profit goals.
  • Mentor clinic directors, support staff, and physical therapists, overseeing hiring, retention, and performance management for 130 team members.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within rural markets, develop local community partnerships, and launch new service lines.
  • Ensure all clinics follow state and federal healthcare regulations, HIPAA standards, and high-quality patient care guidelines.
