About The Position

We are working with a rapidly scaling B2B health technology and services company focused on the behavioral health ecosystem. We partner with provider organizations to deliver end-to-end operational and technology solutions that improve access, efficiency, and outcomes. The company is in a high-growth, system-building phase, past early startup, not yet fully institutionalized. Over the next 24 months, we plan to scale our provider network from ~185 to 1,000+ providers while strengthening internal systems, leadership, and execution. There are no immediate plans for a sale or new equity partners, but we are intentionally building toward long-term enterprise value. This is a true operating leadership role, not a caretaker position. The COO will act as the CEO’s operational counterpart, owning execution, accountability, and cross-functional alignment across the business. The right leader will thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, and bring structure without slowing momentum. You will be responsible for turning strategy into reality, fixing what’s broken, strengthening what works, and building an organization that can scale efficiently without burning out its people or partners. What Success Looks Like In the first 90 days: Gain full command of day-to-day operations and team dynamics Clarify roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and communication rhythms Identify operational bottlenecks across people, systems, and workflows Build trust with executive peers (CEO, CFO, CTO, CCO) and key leaders Begin streamlining systems across operations, HR, and provider workflows Within 12 months: Operations run smoothly with minimal executive fire-fighting Clear performance metrics, dashboards, and accountability are embedded across teams Provider onboarding, engagement, and productivity scale reliably Technology and operations are tightly integrated The organization can support rapid growth without chaos You are a trusted thought partner who challenges assumptions and drives better decisions
