About The Position

This is not a traditional Chief of Staff role. It's an opportunity to become the CEO's trusted business partner and an extension of his leadership. You'll take ownership of high-priority initiatives, manage complex projects, and drive execution across the organization with minimal oversight. This role is designed for someone who thinks like a business owner, thrives under pressure, takes initiative without being asked, and consistently follows through. Success isn't measured by how many tasks you complete—it's measured by your ability to solve problems, anticipate challenges, earn trust, and free the CEO to focus on growing the business.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to independently own complex projects from start to finish.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think and operate like a business owner.
  • Exceptional judgment, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the confidence to make decisions independently.
  • Creative thinker who can develop solutions rather than relying on constant direction.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Experience building relationships across departments and influencing without formal authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience running a business, leading significant initiatives, or working in an entrepreneurial environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution, e-commerce, Amazon, retail, or other fast-paced businesses is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the CEO's strategic partner across daily operations and key business initiatives.
  • Take complete ownership of high-impact, time-sensitive projects from planning through execution.
  • Manage executive priorities, communications, emails, and follow-ups to ensure critical initiatives continue moving forward.
  • Lead cross-functional projects while coordinating with internal teams, external partners, attorneys, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive accountability across departments and ensure commitments, deadlines, and deliverables are met.
  • Anticipate obstacles, identify solutions, and resolve issues before they require executive involvement.
  • Research, analyze, and make informed recommendations that support strategic business decisions.
  • Handle confidential matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Participate in meetings alongside the CEO, capture key action items, and independently execute next steps.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization while serving as a trusted point of coordination between leadership and operational teams.
  • Continuously improve execution by identifying opportunities to streamline communication, follow-up, and operational efficiency.
  • Operate with a "delegate and own" mindset—taking responsibility for outcomes rather than simply completing assigned tasks.
