About The Position

We are looking for an experienced servant leader who has served in a Head of Operations or Chief of Staff capacity to help optimize our organization's ongoing day-to-day operations, with a heavy administrative focus but also exposure and interfacing with program teams (marketing, production, web, etc.). The truest job description of this role is doing what the day requires, which will always vary day-to-day. The ideal candidate is humble, willing to roll up their sleeves in a growing organization where no job is too small or too large, and can work closely with the CEO (to whom this role reports) on day-to-day operations. We need someone skilled in anticipating issues, preventing problems before they arise, and effectively ‘directing traffic’ within the organization.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of high-level experience, including working with companies of 100+ staff and $50M+ revenues with 10+ years of overall work experience
  • Impeccable writing/communication skills, organizational skills, project management skills
  • Zero ego, and highly professional judgment - know when to pull CEO in for guidance and when to make quick decisions and move things forward
  • Hunger/driven to succeed - this role works closely with the CEO and thus requires an individual who has the same level of hunger to succeed, passion for the cause/company and will put in the time/effort as needed for a ‘Company First’ mentality
  • Strong passion for our vision/mission, strong Conservative, pro-American values and knowledge of our digital footprint
  • Ability to do anything the job requires with sleeves happily rolled up - whether writing to high-level donors, shadowing the CEO at events, grabbing lunch to scheduling last-minute flights, to reviewing content and working on product line launches as needed
  • Ability to travel 3-4x a year

Responsibilities

  • Review the CEO and team/production calendar daily/weekly, and anticipate/optimize for work operations taking into account CEO & team needs, availability, and moving towards highest priority/ROI items
  • Draft/proofread the most important internal/external communications for accuracy and impact from Office of CEO
  • Work closely with the CEO in any needs that come up - travel accommodations, assisting in offsite in-person meetings, events and more along with the EA’s on the team
  • Work with content production/marketing team to increase operational efficiency wherever needed - whether content reviewing, messaging, and in general keeping projects moving forward with the company where the CEO is involved
  • Work with program teams on ensuring we are optimizing for the best SOP’s and metrics on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis and performing onboardings as best as we can for new employees across the team
  • Structure and organize quarterly board meetings including onsite coordination and BOD member attendance and communication as needed
