In addition, Vendelux Meetings helps customers turn event insights into action — using AI to identify high-value attendees and automatically book 1:1 meetings with the right prospects at conferences. This allows teams to maximize pipeline generation and make every event materially more impactful. Founded in 2021, Vendelux is a Series A SaaS company backed by leading investors including FirstMark, with a recent $14M round. Our team brings experience from companies like Bain, ZoomInfo, Shutterstock, Compass, Forter, Airbnb, and more.

Vendelux is a rapidly scaling AI company building the system of record for event marketing. We're heading into Series B and growing fast — and we're looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly alongside our CEO as a trusted thought partner, strategic operator, and force multiplier across the business. This is not a 9-to-5 role, and it's not an EA role. You'll sit next to the CEO, be in every important room, and be expected to move fast, think clearly, and own outcomes, not just coordinate them. You will help turn ideas into execution, drive alignment across teams, and ensure the company is operating at maximum velocity. This is an ideal role for someone who began their career in top-tier strategy consulting and has since operated inside a high-growth startup. This role is fully on-site five days a week, sitting next to the CEO out of our NYC headquarters.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of previous experience in management consulting
• 2-4 years post consulting experience in a high growth early stage startup
• Exceptional structured thinking and problem solving
• Strong written and verbal communication — you can make complex things clear fast
• Ability to operate fluidly across strategy and execution
• High ownership and bias for action
• Comfortable working in ambiguity with incomplete information

Nice To Haves

• Previous Chief of Staff experience is ideal
• Business operations, data, or strategy roles also considered
• Founder ambitions are a genuine plus

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the CEO on strategic priorities: Partner with the CEO to define priorities, structure problems, and drive execution across the company. This includes board meetings and investor update preparation, fundraising and strategic partnership support, evaluation of new product and market opportunities, and leading key company-wide initiatives. You'll also represent the CEO in internal discussions and meetings where his presence isn't required — acting as a true extension, not a delegate.
• Lead high-impact cross-functional projects: Own 1–3 major strategic initiatives at any given time, cutting across product, GTM, data, sales, engineering, and operations. This could include items like designing internal operating cadences and reporting frameworks, and supporting the launch of new AI capabilities and platform features.
• Be a trusted thought partner to the CEO: Pressure test strategic decisions, synthesize complex information into clear recommendations, and help communicate priorities across the company. You'll be the person the CEO thinks out loud with — and the person who tells him when something isn't right.
