About The Position

The Chief of Staff will serve as the operating system of the company, establishing clear ownership, performance metrics, and commitments across all functions. This role involves managing a diverse group of approximately 25 people, agencies, and suppliers across Customer Service, TikTok Shop, Amazon, Operations, Retention, and Finance. Additionally, the Chief of Staff will oversee a rotating portfolio of high-leverage projects from inception to completion and manage the CEO's calendar, inbox, and meeting follow-up to allow the CEO to focus on product, partnerships, and P&L. This is a hands-on role requiring deep involvement in the work, pushing individuals, and raising overall standards. The position reports directly to the CEO with the potential for increased authority as performance is demonstrated. A successful tenure in this role offers a direct path to a C-suite or President position within two years.

Responsibilities

• Own accountability and urgency across every function, tracking KPIs, deadlines, and commitments for individuals and agencies.
• Follow up individually with owners, unblock issues, enforce urgency, and ensure owners understand their responsibility for outcomes.
• Build the process map of the entire business, defining roles, documenting responsibilities, creating SOPs for workflows, organizing documentation, establishing clear reporting and ownership structures, and defining criteria for bonuses, promotions, or termination.
• Triage all items currently directed to the CEO, handling them directly, routing them to the appropriate manager, automating them, or eliminating them.
• Own high-leverage projects end-to-end, including scoping, execution, coordination of resources, and reporting progress.
• Turn conversations into tracked actions by capturing decisions and action items from various communication channels, assigning owners and deadlines, and ensuring completion.
• Manage the CEO's calendar, inbox, and meeting preparation, including scheduling, prioritization, material preparation, and follow-up.
• Raise the standard for the people around you by providing direct feedback, flagging underperformance early, and assisting managers in holding their teams accountable.
