Wiz, Inc.•New York, NY
•$249,600 - $255,840

About The Position

The Chief of Staff sits at the right hand of the Chief Security Sales Officer (CSSO) as a key member of the executive leadership team. The role provides executive leverage, drives operational and strategic alignment across a global, integrated security Go-to-Market organization, and serves as a credible proxy for the CSSO across Google Cloud, Alphabet leadership, customers, and partners. The Chief of Staff turns strategy into operational discipline, runs the rhythm of the business, and proactively addresses mission-critical challenges across the global sales footprint. Google Cloud Security’s unified GTM organization brings together specialized security sales, Revenue Operations, Channel/Ecosystem partners, Public Sector, and Revenue Marketing. It operates at high scale and is rapidly accelerating past $1B+ in ARR, driving security transformation for large enterprises.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in GTM strategy, sales operations, revenue operations, corporate development, or Chief of Staff roles supporting an executive sales or revenue leader (SVP/EVP/CRO) in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise software commercial structures, deal strategy, pricing workflows, or complex transaction execution.
  • Experience designing and managing executive operating rhythms, quarterly business reviews, and executive communications for VP+ and C-suite audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep domain experience in Cybersecurity, Enterprise SaaS, or Cloud Infrastructure go-to-market organizations.
  • Track record leading strategic initiatives during hyper-growth scale ($500M to $1B+ ARR) or post-merger integration.
  • Working familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Value Selling, or Command of the Message, and partner/cloud marketplace sales motions.
  • Exceptional executive presence, diplomatic acumen, and judgment to balance organizational health, business growth, and leadership priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CSSO to define, evolve, and execute the multi-year unified security sales strategy across enterprise, commercial, and public sector segments.
  • Draft and maintain a cohesive strategic narrative across annual and quarterly OKRs, global all-hands, Executive Committee updates, board and investor briefings, and keynote presentations.
  • Identify organizational blind spots and ensure strategic priorities cascade to frontline sales teams and regional leadership.
  • Advise the CSSO on strategic deal structuring, large enterprise pricing approvals, and non-standard contract terms.
  • Maintain operational fluency across direct sales, cloud marketplace commitments, systems integrators, and channel distribution.
  • Partner with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, and other internal teams on approval workflows, discounting policies, and strategic escalations for mega-deals and joint multi-product customer commitments.
  • Design, govern, and facilitate leadership staff meetings, operational business reviews, and quarterly business reviews across Geo Sales Leaders, RevOps, Enablement, and Field Marketing.
  • Monitor revenue pipeline indicators, linearity, quota attainment, and forecast fidelity, surfacing operational red flags early.
  • Establish a synchronized cadence between the Office of the CSSO and Global Security Customer Engineering leadership so technical pre-sales capacity aligns with sales priorities.
  • Champion organizational alignment, cultural cohesion, and open communication across unified sales forces and partner teams.
  • Partner with regional sales leaders across AMER, EMEA, APAC, and Japan to balance global standards with local market execution.
  • Track strategic initiatives and provide the CSSO with insight into cross-functional programs, milestones, headcount planning, and dependencies involving People Operations and Finance.
  • Serve as the primary GTM bridge to Security Product Management and Engineering, converting field intelligence, win/loss data, and customer feedback into prioritized roadmap inputs.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to turn security product releases into actionable sales plays and quota-carrying motions.
  • Represent the CSSO in executive reviews, cross-functional forums, and critical customer engagements when the CSSO cannot attend.
  • Determine which issues require direct CSSO intervention and which can be resolved at the project or staff level.
  • Lead rapid-response efforts for urgent commercial escalations, organizational bottlenecks, and operational disruptions.
