About The Position

The Chief of Staff to the CMO is a critical role that supports the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) directly. This role operates largely behind the scenes and spans a wide range of responsibilities, from logistical coordination to leading strategic projects and managing leadership relationships and processes, often at a high tempo. A central aspect of the role is connecting the dots across leaders, priorities, and challenges throughout Indeed. You will frequently step into situations where you are not the final owner, moving fluidly from project to project as needed, whether to address an emerging issue, get an initiative back on track, or explore an analytical question, before transitioning ownership to others. This includes enabling the CMO’s effectiveness through time and process management, delegation, and relationship coordination, at times involving administrative work, serving as the CMO’s proxy in select contexts, simplifying priorities and synthesizing communication, managing Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) processes, driving rapid follow-through on a wide range of issues, tracking and ensuring completion of CMO action items.
